Several years ago God caused my path to cross that of BMFP Missionaries Walter & Dolly Stevens. This dear couple are American Gypsies who are reaching the Gypsy people of Eastern Europe. Since our meeting God has burdened my heart to partner with them in their labors.

In November of 2006 organized classes began at the Eastern European Gypsy Bible Institute (EEGBI). This institute is designed as a three-year Bible program, focused on training Gypsy men to reach Gypsy villages in church planting efforts.

In November of 2009 we graduated our first class of five Gypsey men. These men, under the leadership of their pastor, Ghitsa Fekete, have already established a church in a nearby village. We are now working with our second group of Gypsy men, preparing them for the work of the ministry.

This February, I will be making my ninth trip to teach in the Institute. I am thrilled at what God has already done with this "Forgotten" people group and am looking forward to seeing what He will yet do in the future.
